"Villa Roma" in the small village of Carcegna:

A charming 17th century stone building with 3 separate apartments.

Villa Roma is a solid, stone-built house, reminding us of times gone-by. This charming building seems to embrace visitors and reward them with a simple and relaxing atmosphere.
The village itself, perched on a hill above the lake, is a reminder of a lost way of life. One can walk through the narrow streets and take the old footpath to the communal wash house where is still possible to see the village women at work. This paradise is only two km from Orta, the small and busy “capital” of the lake, with its wide range of restaurants, cafes and trattorias.
Parking at the Villa Roma is about 200metres away in a convenient public parking area. However, cars can be taken right up to the villa for loading and unloading
The Villa Roma has recently undergone a partial restoration which has transformed the building into three separate, first floor apartments. Each apartment has its own private outdoor spaces and provides a delightful combination of old world charm and modern – all in all, everything needed for a cosy holiday.
Should accommodation for a large group be needed, then the entire villa will take more than 12 people in comfort.

The Apartments:

Roma 1
A large, two room, first floor apartment. The layout comprises: a living room with fresco ceilings; separate, small kitchen; one large double bedroom; a bathroom with bath.
A washing machine is available in a small utility room set aside for the exclusive use of the apartment.
There is a good terrace (loggia) with table and chairs – excellent for dining al fresco.
With two additional beds in the living room, the apartment sleeps 4 people

Roma 2
A two room apartment on the first floor, with separate kitchen and bathroom with bath. Large living room with original stone fireplace. There is a double bedroom which, with the two single sofa beds in the living room, allows this apartment to sleep 4 people. A washing machine is also available
The small kitchen opens out onto a secluded, pretty garden which is for the exclusive use of the apartment.

Roma 3
A three room apartment on the first floor. The accommodation comprises a large kitchen with dining area, living room with sofa bed, a large master bedroom and a small bathroom with bath. There is also a washing machine and a dishwasher. The apartment has shared use of the stone-paved courtyard on the ground floor with table and chairs provided.
You will fall in love with this charming old house and enjoy being transported by the "yesteryear" setting, away from the hustle of modern life .......
