Villa del Lago

E’ un grande appartamento in una villa in pietra che gode di una fantastica vista lago. Si trova a Corconio, piccolo borgo a qualche minuto di macchina da Orta San Giulio, piccola “capitale” del lago con i suoi ristoranti e negozi tipici.
Bella la posizione panoramica sul lago e le colline circostanti, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di Buccione, bar e ristoranti.
Ospita fino a 7/8 persone. Si sviluppa completamente a piano terra con 3 camere da letto, 2 bagni, cucina completamente equipaggiata con lavastoviglie, lavatrice, forno, grande frigorifero, ecc. Grande salone con sala da pranzo. Balconcino panoramico sul lago e colline. Terrazzo-portico con tavolo e sedie per mangiare all’esterno. Parte riservata di giardino e parcheggio davanti alla porta principale. Accessibile a piedi o in macchina dalla casa è una spiaggia privata in comune con un altro appartamento.

Wir waren eine Woche in der Ville del Lago und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet und die Vermieter sehr nett! Grandios ist der Riesenbalkon mit herrlichem Seeblick und der Weg durch die weitläufigen Gärten mit kleinem Privatstrand am See. Die ganze Umgebung ist bis auf die Uferstraße sehr naturbelassen, mit vielen steinalten Bergdörfern und dem völlig idyllischen Hauptort San Giulio (mit Auto fünf Minuten, zu Fuß mit kids ca. eine Stunde). Fazit: Für jeden zu empfehlen, der die Natur liebt und die Hektik hinter sich lassen möchte.

We stayed at Ville del Lago on Lake Orta over Christmas 2009. The Villa was our most favourite accommodation during our 6 week tour through France Italy Slovenia and Austria. My wife and I were travelling with our children (19, 17 and 13 years of age). There was plenty of room for all our family and it had everything we needed. It was also very comfortable, warm and cosy. The lake was close by. Plus we also had a white Christmas which was a treat for Australians. The furnishings were a bit older than usual but that did not bother us and suited the place.
The village of Orta was close (by car) and a real treat to visit. There was also skiing nearby. But overall a very comfortable and relaxing place stay.
Ilaria from Holiday Orta was very friendly and helpful – a delightful hostess.
We are definitely going to go back.
